The New Terminal is Open in a New Location

The new terminal opened on May 6, 2009. The roads nearest the building are new and are not shown on printed maps.

Internet companies such as Google Maps and MapQuest have yet to add the new roads and terminal address to their databases. If you use these sites to find the airport, they will lead you to the old terminal at 5000 W. Kearney Street.

The address of the new terminal is. 2300 N. Airport Boulevard, Springfield, Missouri 65802. The coordinates of this address are: N37 14 18 W93 23 54.

BEWARE !

If you put these coordinates into an Internet mapping service or GPS unit you probably won't find anything except a farm pasture. We've been told in may take as long as two years for Internet mapping services and GPS companies to catch up.
