The Airport Board of Springfield, Missouri will be implementing a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program and Goal for FY 2024-2026. The DBE goal, which is required to be set every three years by the FAA, pertains to federally funded construction projects only. The proposed goal is 4.0% overall goal, 3% Race Conscious goal, 1% Race Neutral goal. The purpose of the Program and Goal is to establish a level playing field for the participation of DBEs. It is the Airport Board of Springfield, Missouri’s intent to invite all interested parties to provide feedback and relevant information to the goal setting process prior to submitting the goal for approval. If you have information concerning the availability of disadvantaged and non-disadvantaged businesses, the effects of discrimination on opportunities for DBEs, and the Airport Board of Springfield, Missouri’s efforts to establish a level playing field for the participation of DBEs, we invite you to the airport on November 20, 2023, at 4 PM CST in the airport board room.
