The white sand and blue waters of Miami are just one flight away from Springfield beginning this February. That's when American Airlines starts seasonal, Saturday-only service between the Springfield airport (SGF) and Miami (MIA) International.
The seasonal service begins February 15, 2025, and ends March 29, 2025. Tickets will be available for purchase by October 14 at aa.com or through American’s mobile app.
According to the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, more than 27 million people visited Miami in 2023.
“American looks forward to offering nonstop service between Springfield and our Miami hub in time for spring break next year,” says Jason Reisinger, American’s Managing Director of Global Network Planning. “For travelers looking to go to Miami or beyond to one of more than 80 destinations in Mexico, the Caribbean and Latin America, American’s flight is conveniently scheduled to give customers flexibility to plan their next sunny vacation.”
